Thoughts
Thoughts from Dr. Robert Kramarczuk
I was born in Ukraine, not wanting to live under Communist rule, we, as a family emigrated to the U.S., post the conclusion of WWII.
I never thought that the land of my birth would once again live through the horror of war.
Russia, to the astonishment of the entire world, launched an unprovoked invasion on the free peoples of Ukraine, and it’s cities and villages. Russian rockets and artillery, are not only directed at military targets, but also at residential centers, children, women, hospitals, and civil populations. Leaving charred ruins, corpses, raping young women, sowing evil and death wherever they are.
Russian propaganda justifies the unprovoked attack as a campaign to rescue Ukrainians from nationalists/fascists. The main premise being that those sympathetic to Russia are patriots, and a Ukrainian who loves his country, is a traitor.
Giving up their lives on the front lines are young men, the seeds of Ukrainian future.
An enemy bullet can pierce a breast and still a beating heart, the human soul is eternal.
God did not create only the mighty and strong. He gave strength to those of deep faith for freedom.
During this time, every Ukrainian, wherever they may reside in the world, weeps for their country, and especially for the innocents affected by this murderous invasion, and tries to comprehend the resultant immeasurable magnitude of the humanitarian crisis.
The free world citizenry harbors similar views. I call on persons to consider, to any extent they are able, to help mitigate the humanitarian crisis.
Ukraine always was, and will remain always.
Slava and Freedom for Ukraine!
